VALERY KOROSHILOV

    Winner of The Artist of The Year Award 2010,  Valery is a London-based Russian painter who exhibits internationally. Combining an architectural training with twenty years of experience in large-scale decorative  painting and portraiture, he focuses on bespoke private and corporate commissions.

    He produces  a museum-quality oil paintings with a strong contemporary touch. The work is featured in art collections around the world.
    In 2013 a major commission in Paris  (18 paintings and a sculptural bas-relief - in collaboration with the architect for a site-specific project, a private villa in Neuilly-sur-Seine) has just been completed.  A painted portrait for the same client is featured in the British Vogue, June 2013. Another large body of work has been created for the P&O Cruises, when the designers of the UK biggest luxury supeliner Ventura commissioned him 36 paintings and murals (completed in 2008 and opened by Dame Helen Mirren).

    Currently Valery is working on two projects. One is a portrait of the English actress Emilia Fox with her daughter Rose, and another one, at an early stage and again in Paris, of a celebrated French writer of the Russian origin - Andrei Makine, the winner of the Prix Goncourt and Prix Medicis.
