Sheila has had a lifelong passion for drawing and painting. She began marketing her work professionally in 2007 after completing two years of study at Glasgow School of Art. Her style of painting is contemporary and she depicts landscape and studio still life using vibrant colours and bold texture. Her work was featured on the BBC One Show Summer Exhibition in 2009 and she has paintings hanging in the Scottish Parliament Building. She enjoys depicting the Scottish landscape and regularly travels to the west coast islands to gather subject material. She also enjoys creating still life scenes and more recently she has embarked on figurative work featuring family and friends.
Interest in her work is growing and Sheila now exhibits work in a range of highly regarded Scottish Art Galleries. She has been invited to do two person art shows and solo exhibitions with these galleries. Her colourful and carefully composed scenes are popular and her work has been collected by private clients and for corporate displays.
