Philippa Roy has been interested in the arts and creativity for as long as she can remember. She has worked in a wide variety of creative roles, from an early appearance as Andy Pandy at the Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988, appearing on STV in the 1990s providing 'festive makeover' ideas, to providing the hair and makeup for shoots for the Glasgow Herald Magazine's fashion pages in the early 2000s. She is one of the most well known and unique characters on the Glasgow hairdressing scene, with a roster of celebrity clients, many of whom she has known and worked with for decades. Working from Glasgow's stylish West End, she has experience with a variety of media, including silver jewellery which has been sold in a number of independent outlets in the city, but her most recent works are a variety of scenes including landscapes in acrylics on canvas. Philippa's love of travel, love of challenging herself and love of people means she is looking forward to spending the summer of 2016 in Canada practicing her craft, developing her unique style, and, most importantly, making new friends.
