Award winning artist Pat Beveridge is based in Fife, Scotland. Already an accomplished painter, Pat began working with textiles and stitch and other media in 2002 and this now represents the main focus of her work. She retired from teaching in 2004 to concentrate on her art career. Pat's work is remarkable for its combination of colours and is widely recognised throughout Scotland and beyond. Pat's work is inspired by the Scottish landscape, including the Fife coast and the Scottish Islands.
Pat has exhibited work in many prestigious galleries throughout Scotland and other parts of the UK, including; the Aberfeldy Gallery; the Sun Gallery, Newburgh; the Iona Gallery, Oxford and the Panik Gallery in Killearn.
Pat has received awards from a number of organisations, including;- the Worshipful Company of Broderers (2009)
- City & Guilds (medals for excellence 2009)
- the Charles Henry Foyle Trust (stitched textile awards 2007)
- the Shell Company/Kirkcaldy Art Gallery (including best in show).
